Touch Me Gently by J. R. Loveless

1.0

...I wanted really badly to like this book, especially after I found out that the author and I frequent the same yaoi forum. But...while I enjoyed the plot summary on the back, that was about the end of it. The pace of the book was rather quick; there was a lot more that could have been done, I felt. It was a quick read; only about three, maybe four hours total. I really wish the characters could have just been GAY. The first thing that Logan "thinks" is "oh, even though I've never been attracted to men before, this one is pretty cute --but that might just be because he's kind of girly looking". Lame. I want to read books about gay men BECAUSE THEY ARE GAY. Not straight guys who fall for the "one and only man they'll ever find attractive". Seriously. There were other problems too. The writing was weak; the storyline was far too sweet and sappy. If I wanted that kind of a story, I'd read a Harlequin.
