I was absolutely honored to get an ARC of this book. I am the biggest coho fan but this book was WEIRD. like really weird but I actually ended up loving it.
Here’s what I loved: I love when an author is not afraid to branch out, and she definitely branched out. She left her wonderful romance mixed in but it was very paranormal heavy, which normally is not my thing at all.
Here’s what I didn’t love: the paranormal was really unique and unlike anything I’ve heard of before but, much like any ghost story, it came off pretty cheesy sometimes. (The hair part, IYKYK)
Overall if you are a fan of “YOU” On Netflix, I would recommend this book. I really feel like these had the similar vibes because of the male lead, Leeds, but you know, this one has a ghost or two. Leeds had that slightly stalker level obsession with his girlfriend, but was also very self obsessed at the same time?? Overall it made for a really crazy story!
LAYLA is a book that will leave you wanting more and entranced in the paranormal world. I definitely recommend to anyone who loves a good romance!!! Thank you #netgalley #layla
