Excellent dark fiction anthology. I love the variety of horror from story to story, and I know I will revisit this book for many reasons. I loved the unique perspectives of the authors and the critique of colonialism is underlying throughout the collection. Some of my favorite stories were Kushtuka, Navajos Don’t Wear Elk Teeth, Hunger, Snakes Are Born in the Dark, Heart-Shaped Clock, The Prepper, & the Scientist’s Horror Story. I love the included bio of each author at the end of the story, and I look forward to reading other works by my favorites!
