Le Rêve by Émile Zola

3.0

In Beaumont's 19th century, the Hubert family took Angélique, barely ten years old, and abandoned her. The family teaches him to embroider. And she becomes a specialist, but she dreams of the handsome prince, of happiness. His dream will eventually come true.
That's a beautiful novel for readers who want to finally read something other than stories of murders, wars, or violence.
