Bound by Hatred
by Cora Reilly
3.5⭐️ Firstly I’m thrilled that this was dual pov, Cora was really torturing us in the last two books. I felt like I was in the dark too much with them, unlike this one.
Matteo was the redeeming factor of this book. He was so loyal and obsessed with Gianna even when she didn’t deserve it to be honest. No wonder Luca was constantly side eye-ing her, I was too. Considering he’s a mafia man, he was willing to break nearly every rule to protect and keep Gianna.
Gianna’s character disappointed me a bit if I’m honest. The previous books made her seem more passionate and strong, but this book basically showed her having a big childish tantrum for 90% of the book. She was fighting her feelings for Matteo for no reason other than her big ego not wanting to admit he would actually make her happy as a housewife.
Onto the next because I’m too invested in this series now, Cora has mastered the addictive writing style.
