Candice Cushing and the Lost Tomb of Cleopatra by Georgette Kaplan

3.0

I'm all in for adventure and a fast pace, which this book didn't fail to deliver.
Unfortunately, though, the humour felt very off here.
As a white Caucasian person, I felt that Kaplan's jokes about African people culture and traditions were too often excessive and not in the least funny. Despite my own wicked sense of humour and high tolerance for politically incorrect jokes, I couldn't bring myself to cut the author any slack on that.
