City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert

5.0

Picked this book up not knowing what to expect and I’ll will say i was very surprise by this!
New York City in the 40s, lesbians, feminists, sexual liberation, theatre, and most importantly the power and strength that comes from friendship.
Not to mention how WW1 was experienced by women on the home front.
This book gave me every thing I wanted and more.

Absolutely stunning read!
