Love Me Today by A.L. Jackson
4.0

Paisley and Caleb’s story really starts off with a bang when she accidentally backs into his car. To say they start off on the wrong foot would be a huge understatement as they collide in more ways. Paisley is a free spirit of sorts, who loves life and those around her, except her new boss that loves to rile her up and complain about everything. Caleb’s life is now one where he is terrified of the things he has done in the name of loyalty because it all blew up in his face, so he is constantly looking over his shoulder for the next bad thing to happen and this makes him extremely protective of Evelyn who means the world to him. Caleb is stoic, keeps to himself but there is something about Paisley that draws out this side of him he can’t help but want for himself, yet he knows with his past he can’t. This story was emotional that had suspense enough to keep me on the edge of my seat and I really wished it was a tad more fast paced because at times it got too slow for my tastes, but overall I loved the characters and all the feels they brought out.
