chungledown_bim 's review for:
Everything is Tuberculosis
by John Green
challenging
sad
Mercifully brief, yet far longer than it needed to be. It's the vtuber patter that rankles, I think. Swaying between horrifying statistics & facts then spinning to a theatric interpretation of a real person's real poverty & illness. Like & subscribe! The important message of the inequality of tuberculosis nearly lost amisdt the emotional drama. I know Green is trying to help, using the privilege & platform for good- but I can also see how this book is going to make people mad, since privilege & platform are the lens with which this terrible thing is viewed
