Web of Lies by Jennifer Estep

This was a fun read, but for a relatively low complexity plot line it took a long time to get to the resolution and we seemed to dwell a lot on the characters backstory. The author consistently took the main character’s narrative into flashbacks or moments of reflection. Generally speaking I love a good backstory but I got more than a little bored of her’s. Also I find the Donovan Caine story less than compelling. He’s boring, boy, bye.
