uhh yikes... this was kind of messy and i only read about 12%. im rating it because it was not good and i don't need to read more to know that.
FULL of stereotypes that are used so often with gay characters - "in love with my best friend but she's straight" for example
use of the "r" slur 7% into the book, and other reviewers say it's used multiple times, and not in a "you shouldn't say this b/c it's terrible" way (which is the only way i would find it not disgusting in a book). it's ableist and gross. i get that this book was published in 2013, but that's not that long ago, and it should not have been published with that word being used several times.
characters were flat and uninteresting. i wanted to like it because there aren't many F/F books out there, but this is a no from me. sad i spend 99 cents on this
