My first read by KS was Close Quarters, and I've been saying that I love her writing ever since. And I still do; until now, no one has been able to change my mind.
I've never read a book like this before— a journalist that assigned to follow an athlete around, giving a behind the scenes glimpse into some of the action? Yeah, you could say that.
Maven has never gotten over her past trauma that made it hard for her to trust others, including Vince Cool. But this man is determined to gain her trust, and boy, does he do it! He's a HUGE green flag to me. You can't say otherwise. Maven's struggle to overcome her trauma and trust Vince was incredibly relatable ❤️🩹
+ I'm so excited for Jax and Grace's book!! The epilogue wasn't enough, I want MORE 👹👹👹
