Rush Too Far by Abbi Glines

5.0

Go back to where it all began with Rush and Blaire, but this time get inside Rush's head and find out what he was thinking when Blaire arrived on his doorstep.

Parties every week and a new girl every night - there's nothing more that Rush needs in his life. That's until his step-sister Blaire arrives on his doorstep. She's everything that Rush could want and more, but getting close to Blaire means he could destroy everything - Blaire's life, their relationship, and his family. But Rush can't seem to get Blaire out of his head, and although there's a lot to lose, his can't help but be drawn to her and let her into his heart.

Retelling Fallen Too Far from Rush's perspective, this book is the perfect conclusion to Rush and Blaire's story in the Rosemary Beach series. Anyone who has a Rush Crush will love this book. It was great to go back to the beginning of the story and read about the beginning of Rush and Blaire's relationship from Rush's perspective. We finally get to see why Rush acted the way did and the inner conflicts he had to overcome.

Abbi did a fantastic job retelling the original story, adding new scenes and extending ones that we saw from Blaire's perspective. So while a lot of the book is what we've already read, there's new content that enhances the overall story of Rush and Blaire. So if you're worried about this being a boring retelling of a story we already know, then you can rest easy knowing you'll be learning even more about these characters.

This book was such a perfect way to end Rush and Blaire's story within the series. Once again, the Rosemary Beach series is a must-read, even if you only read the initial Too Far books. Abbi is a fantastic New Adult author, and if you are looking to get into the genre, definitely start with her books. However, if you aren't looking for something containing sex scenes, this probably isn't the series for you.

I promise this is the last post about Rush/Blaire! However, it certainly won't be the last post about Rosemary Beach or Abbi Glines, because I'm in love with the series and Abbi's work!
