Savvy Summers and the Sweet Potato Crimes
by Sandra Jackson-Opoku
Huge thanks to @netgalley & @stmartinspress for this cozy mystery treat!
Savvy Summers runs the best soul food café on the South Side of Chicago—and her sweet potato pie is to die for (literally, since a customer dies right after ordering it).
Savvy’s smart, funny, and not afraid to get her hands dirty solving a murder that could ruin her café. Bonus points for the great vibes, hilarious sidekick Penny, and some low-key romance.
I seriously want to eat at Essie’s and try that pie ASAP. If you love cozy mysteries with flavor and heart, this one’s for you!
