I really didn’t like this. It felt weirdly anti-feminist for a book so focused on the divine feminine. The way Sophie is characterized feels patronizing, and I feel like the author uses this idea of the sacred woman as a way of putting women on a pedestal instead of actually leveling with them. Such a cool concept though, but I feel like it could have been written more compellingly.
