Tom reunites with Isabella when she unexpectedly leaves Belgium. Her father has passed away and she promised him she'd bury him next to her mother. Risking her life, she plans to return to Russia to follow through with her promise. Tom refuses to let her go alone. An old friend turns into an enemy, who was thought to be an enemy turns into a friend, and a mole inside of the agency endangers Tom and Isabella even more than they were before. Do they make it out of Russia alive and well? Find out in Motherland.
Motherland is full of twists and turns. I did not want to put it down. I felt right along with the characters through every emotion. This book is a rollercoaster ride, but so worth it.
