This book follows the life of Bria of the Autumn Court. Bria was never told who her mother was, and as she is a bastard daughter of the High Lord of the Autumn Court, she is treated as such.
I absolutely love the freshness and creativity of the world building. This is fae and a court world as we’ve never seen it. At first, I found it familiar to ACOTAR, but it slowly showed me that it was NO copycat.
Bria is forced to endure too much at the hands of the people who are supposed to love and support her. Just when she believes she isn’t worthy of anyone’s love, a new hope blooms in the form of a new court and its leaders. I LOVE Wyn, Torin, and Vander’s fierce loyalty to Bria.
This book ended on a cliff hanger!!! I read the ebook, so I couldn’t see the pens coming. I “turned” right into a brick wall. I can’t WAIT the read book 2!
