"I doubt I will ever like anyone else in the world as much as I like you."

I am obsessed with this story and these characters! This was my first Emily Henry read and I can see why her writing has so much hype. I've never seen someone write comedy and banter so well! For Libby especially, I want to be her friend - the absolute comedy this girl comes up with had me rolling.

Such a beautiful perspective and plot line - Nora is the typical 'other woman' in all the Hallmark romances. The cliches were there but spun on their head which is so interesting to read. Some of the plot points are somewhat predictable because of this but not at all in the way you expect. The summer vibes in this book were all unmatched - definitely one to read on a sun lounger with a cocktail.

The romance was believable and just the right amount of enemies vs lovers. The spice scenes were detailed and a nice blend of well written literature and pure spice entertainment factor. I've got an annotation note here that says "this is too much for page 92" so clearly I was impressed with the level of romance and tension happening in the early stages of the enemies to lovers plot.

There were so many beautiful messages throughout, I really feel like my mindset has changed as a result of reading Book Lovers.
