rosalinereads 's review for:
Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow
by Gabrielle Zevin
I knew this book was going to hurt me from page one.
It's the writing style. Poetic writing style like this just hurts.
And I was right.
But oh my god this was amazing. I feel like I've aged 20 years with the amount of pain and wisdom I hold from this now. The characters' pain was my pain.
I never imagined someone could successfully write a story about some gamers who end up making games and make it poetic somehow, but here we are.
I absolutely loved this...so much. It's the book I never knew I needed in my life.
Side note: the NPCs always matter a lot.
