The Oath of the Vayuputras by Amish Tripathi

3.0

This is the third and the last book of shiva trilogy and I had great expectations from this. It definitely didn't stand up to my expectation but it wasn't that bad either. The story was quite well (not superb but well) till first 100 pages but after that it was so boring and bland for almost up to 70-75% of the book that it took me forever to read it. In the end the story again becomes interesting particularly from the part where Sati becomes the centre of the story (I fell in love with Sati's character in this book)

One other problem I had both with The secret of the nagas and The oath of the vatuputras is that both these books do not justify their names alot. I mean the book neither revolves around the secret (in The secret of nagas) nor does it revolve around the oath, these are just small parts of these books.

The best thing about this book was Sati. Full marks to Amish for creating the character of Sati so so well. Go ahead and finish reading this book to explore more of Sati ( I loved her).

Ps - Read this book not for Shiva but for Sati.
