Not sure what I actually thought of this book.......I have had to wait a while before writing my review.
The book was quite dark in many places with both Gabriel and Julianne coming from troubled upbringings, and have had various things happen to them in their lives that has convinced them they are damaged and not lovable. Throughout the book they come to have deep feelings from each other and it follows the relationship through its highs and lows.
I don't want to give away the plot of the story but it reminded me very much of Fifty Shades/Crossfire Novels as it has the same sort of subject matter and feel. I am not sure if I will be reading the other books in the series but I did enjoy this read. It was very emotional and the writer certainly knows how to create the mood.
