I received this title as an ARC from Valentine PR!!

I cannot begin to describe how much I enjoyed this story. Mr. Broody has the perfect blend of heart, humor, and emotional depth that any contemporary romance strives for. I love author duos, I think they bring so much to the table, and that shows in this story. The writing shines not only because of our compelling central couple, Henry and Jade, but also due to its rich ensemble cast and thoughtful character development.

The story perfectly encapsulates second-chance romances and that scary, wonderful feeling that love always gives us. Their relationship feels authentic, built on slow-burn tension, mutual respect, and shared vulnerabilities. The way they navigate trust, ambition, and their past heartbreak (it’s more like heartache which I’m all for) with each other makes their love story deeply resonant and satisfying.

What truly elevates the book, however, is the ensemble cast. From the hilarious yet loyal teammates to the adorable elementary kiddos, every character is fully realized and adds layers of depth to the story. The camaraderie within the hockey team is a highlight, providing moments of humor and warmth that balance the intensity of the romance.

Mr. Broody is a heartfelt, angsty yet satisfying read that will stay with you long after the final page. Highly recommended!
