Sin City Goddess by Barbra Annino

4.0

I won this book in a giveaway, and I sure am glad I did!

I've always been a fan of roman/greek mythology. They are basically the same thing just different names for the Gods/Demigods.

This book was not told from the point if view of a demigod or god or a mortal that encounters the gods, it is told from one of the lower goddesses' point of view. A point of view not commonly expressed.

Not only that but it doesn't make ALL creatures of the underworld out to be awful like most of the other books of this particular fantasy do.

The female character is strong and independent. She has a few faults, of course who doesn't. Even the guy that she is partnered with has faults, though not as clearly stated as they could be, they are still there. Neither of the main characters are perfect an I like that. It's a good aspect for any book to have.

I loved this book and cannot wait until I can purchase (or win) the next book in the series! Over all scoring 4.5
