I don’t expect much from Liv Constantine books. the writing and characterizations are so simple, they don’t evoke much thought or feeling. the real draw is an interesting plot twist—which this one does not have. I like a good brain-off popcorn thriller but this twist was insultingly poorly thought out. the logistics crumble after thinking about it for half a second. really low effort, cartoon villain BS.
