Connor is absolutely dreamy and Erin does a fantastic job.

Kat Singletons writing is top tier! This was an easy and addictive listen. This was flirty and captivating.

Lucy is an aspiring chef who is working as a waitress at the prestigious Pembroke club in the Hamptons. She has big dreams of being a big name chef but can’t let her parents down. She’s the only one who can take over the family business to let her dad retire. When she is thrown into contact with Callahan her ex boyfriend’s older brother.

Cal is intrigued with Lucy and when a friend of his offers Lucy a job for the summer he decides she needs to work for her not Thomas. He will stop at nothing to get his way. This normally grumpy broody man is obsessed with Lucy his brothers ex girlfriend and now his employee.

This story is set in the Hampton during the summer. These two characters are absolutely lovable and so fun to experience their story.  I loved how Cal was so supportive of Lucy’s dreams.

Already looking forward to the next book!
