I’ve never read a C. J. Tudor book before and with it being spooky season and all the HIGH recommendations I’ve heard, I figured now was the time.
I was NOT disappointed. This book is just plain creepy—unsettling on a major level. It ties in religious horror, witch panic, and psychological twists effortlessly into one incredible story that may keep me awake all night.
Absolutely excellent, terrifying, and ENGAGING. The characters were multi-dimensional, and the ending literally made me throw the book IN THE BEST WAY.
