This one was less epic than the others. It started much slower, but then got very good. It felt like a more traditional narrative than the sprawling and complex story we loved from the first two books, but it was still great. I hated the time jump, way too much. Made it feel like it was not connected. But it also seems to have set up the next installment as a more traditional sequel. I hope it surprises me, but I’m down either way.
