When kind, quiet Charlie sits next to friendly jock Nick, they quickly become close friends. Soon, Charlie develops feelings for Nick which he fears will never be returned. What he doesn't know is that Nick is working through some feelings of his own, and discovering new things about himself.

I love that Charlie and Nick start out as friends and have those sweet moments of innocence and warm tension between them for awhile. They are playful and sweet and just take their time together, getting to know each other. Charlie's friend annoyed me a little bit with the way he was constantly trying to get Charlie not to fall for Nick; he was almost mean about it. It didn't seem like he was being a good friend, even though he was probably just looking out for him. I can't wait to see what happens in Volume 2.

On a side note, I also really love the illustrations and color scheme in this graphic novel. This story is just so cute overall.
