Sweatpants Season, by Danielle Allen

This book really struck a chord with me. The story telling was just smooth like milk chocolate. It was just the right amount of sweetness, richness and yummy sensuality.
First of all, Akita felt like one of my girlfriends. She was focused, strong, funny and loyal. Carlos was all of those things as well. Which made their competitive rivalry for the Remix job entertaining and full of angst.

I love the social issue presented by the “City Boys”. It was a pretty compelling social discussion concerning the objectification of women. Really good discussion about that podcast and how they influenced their society. It made me think of social media today.

The writing was visceral and the sex scenes were intensely sensual. I love Wesleigh Siobhan’s narration because she nailed the hero and heroine voices. I couldn’t put this book down and it is one of my favorites now.
