After reading the synopsis, I was excited to read this book... unfortunately, this did not live up to expectations.
This book needs an editor- BADLY! There were so many inconsistencies that I lost interest pretty quickly. The plot also felt phony in that Raven wanted a dark ott obsessive mmc but gave neither him nor the fmc any depth; he wanted her and he got her yet they really know nothing about each other. Besides forcing Em to perform sex acts, Tanner knew nothing about Em and vice versa.
Also, when did Tanner grovel? Not once was he apologetic when he harassed and threatened Em yet she pretty much folded like a beach chair after constantly running away. There was literally nothing to suggest she loves Tanner but I guess to move the plot along and to give a hea
