Harley Quinn, Vol. 2: Night and Day by Karl Kesel

4.0

This was a satisfying wrap-up to the story that began in Preludes and Knock-Knock Jokes
Spoilereven at the expense of Lewis, which was a little crushing
. I love the way Harley is with Ivy, and I'm looking forward to more of their adventures together. Cameos from the Bat family and special focus on Oracle (including drop-ins from my perpetual crush Nightwing) gave the story additional complexity and added weight to Harley's actions.

The tales that complete this collection introduced new art, which was a breath of fresh air after the gratuitous chest and bottom shots of Harley in her skin-tight suit that I had grown accustomed to. It was a pleasant reminder that she could be portrayed as more than just eye candy while remaining her playful self. Her adventure with Jimmy Olsen was also quite funny.

Will probably pick up the next volume in the upcoming weeks.
