Malibu Rising is the story of four siblings of a famous musician. The father was absentee and the mother had some issues as well. The mother did what she could to raise the kids.
The book rotates between multiple POV throughout the book. There are POV from not only the four Riva siblings, but also people attending the parties. I think the book could have been stronger if it concentrated on one person's POV or even two of the siblings and not so much swapping back and fourth.
