I’m here for the story, and even the length. I loved the overall creepy, suspenseful vibe and the WTF supernatural element of this book. What lost me wasn’t where this book went, but the sheer fast pace action packed last 25% book - I couldn’t keep up! There was already a huge cast of characters, and once the pace picked up and got to nearly break neck speed and kept changing POVs I had a hard time following, it took me out of the story a bit.
