The Extraordinaries by TJ Klune

4.0

I thoroughly enjoyed this book even if after 84 pages, I had to take a small break because being in the mind of Nick Bell was exhausting. There were some things I didn't particularly care for, such as the police worship and some dubious parenting techniques, but overall I liked the friend group of Nick, Jazz, Gibby, and Seth a lot. These four truly do love each other, and you could feel that on the page. Klune does a really great job of creating families outside of traditional settings, and these four ARE family. I wanted to keep them all in my pocket and keep them safe.
