This book surprised me, I really enjoyed the writing and the characters were great (plus points for the MC's being in their 30s).
A retired grumpy bad boy pro surfer who wants a quiet life and the independent no messing about sports journalist don't get off to the best start but she manages to wear him down and all while wearing fabulous shoes.
Iris and Leo don't get off to the best start as he has a past he doesn't want to take about but the attraction is there between them and eventually after some jealously with Iris on a date we get a brilliant chapter where they finally confess how they feel and its in a lift!
This was more spice then what i was expecting (i was thinking this would be quite fluffy) which is always a nice surprise and the setting in Portugal then Australia was great.
