The Premise of this book had such promise. But the execution fell short IMO. I think the romance was abrupt and under developed. Even though all the characters are in University it feels very high-school. I wish the author spent a little more time world building, because the universe we are in seems so interesting but the characters do not reflect that. Also I have decided that I hate multiple time jumps in books. 2 weeks later, 6 weeks later, suddenly its the dance, the end of the year etc. So much winking?! why!? The ending was really interesting. Im curious about a face off with the devil, but not enough to read book 2 or finish the series.
