Activities of Daily Living by Lisa Hsiao Chen
3.75
This book is slow, it's pretentious, it has almost no plot, it feels very niche, it jumps around a lot, etc.
HOWEVER I personally really enjoyed it, although I did get bored in a few parts. It was the perfect level of brainy and cerebral for me without getting too abstract and philosophical. The emotionless writing style is deceiving - the book still has a very emotional heart and I was interested in all of the characters' lives, although I do wish they were touched on more deeply.
