wow. what a gorgeous book. i loved this because it really felt like ari could just be any random guy, which made the whole story feel a lot more relatable. he didnt have any super powers, or major trauma (i meaaann) or anything that determined what this book would be.
instead it just felt like a casual book going through his life and his love.
i didnt expect that this book would make me cry but wow did it make me cry. there were a few scenes which made me ball.
i loved all the characters especially the parents for some reason, they were just very loveable. one of my favourite bits was the fact that
ari’s parents were the ones that helped him come to terms with the fact that he loved dante. for a family in… what was it…  maybe like 1980’s (i cant really remember) i thought it was very sweet that they were so kind and helpful about it

i can see this book being a new comfort book of mine just because of how nice it was to read, i mean whats not to love, there was a dog called legs.. need i say more.

(ALSO I DIDNT WRITE THIS AT 1 AM TODAY, I WROTE IT AT 1PM, WHAT A CHANGE)

P.S

im writing this a while after but i just wanted to add that some of the chapters were very short, but i personally liked that. i like to be able to stop reading after a chapter is done so being able to quickly check how long it was was nice :)
i dont know why im randomly writing yhis but here
