This is the second book by VE Schwab that I have picked up and boy was I surprised by this one. As I have come to expect, the prose itself it beautiful and well written but coming from the slow melodrama feel of Gallant to the much faster pace of this crime thriller was a change i thoroughly enjoyed.
None of the characters are good people and yet I still like several of them. Will be reading the rest of the series ASAP.
