The blurb for this book gives away what is revealed at the end. Some readers see this spoiling as a disservice to the book. However, without the blurb, I don't know that I would have satisfactorily understood what this book was about, even after finishing it. I may have been really frustrated while reading it, having no idea what was happening.

I found the reading of this story to be kind of depressing, but still appreciated the sad beauty of it.

As humankind confronts its end a recording of our history, a memorial to our existence, is uploaded to an operating system in Earth's atmosphere. But the data gets corrupted. The stories in this book are the program's attempt to remember/make sense of what happened.
