I’m pretty sure I just lost an immense amount of brain cells attempting to read this book. If an 11 year old attempted to write a story about what they believe a teenage girl and young woman’s life is like, this is what they’d come up with. I’ve never read something that sounded so immature and juvenile. Who let this be published? Why did anyone think this was good writing? Being stuck inside the main characters mind was complete torture. And the sad thing is, the premise of this story could have been really awesome if it was written better.
This book was trying so hard to be trendy and cool. But what teenage girl/ young woman, even thinks or talks like this? This was truly the worst book I’ve ever read. And there are only 2 books that I completely loathe so that says a lot.
Save yourself the money, brain power and time and just skip this one. I wish I would have.
