I read this for my English class. The style is not my favorite, but I still enjoyed it.
It retells Orpheus' myth, including The Sandman as a character. The story focuses on the consequences of hubris.
For anyone who enjoys comics, this series supposedly becomes better. My professor says he prefers the comics to the series on Netflix.
Many classmates disliked the ending. I cannot say I liked it, but it is an essential depiction of the personality of Morpheus. Having seen the series, I know the ending makes sense for the character. So, if you hated Morpheus for what he does in the end, don't continue reading the series.
This one was exciting to read - lovers of classic mythology and comics/graphic novels would love it.
