The Last Thing to Burn
by Will Dean
Wow wow wow...did I say wow?
Picked this after seeing it around bookstagram a few times. The synopsis reeled me in, a story of a married couple yet the wife is held captive...interesting...I really don’t want to share much about the story line but wow what a read, I have never felt so much anger for a fictional character before and so much heartache for another!!
This is the most I’ve cried over a book, it really does hit you with the feels! Also the story is based in the North of England where I’m from and one of the characters has a solid Manchester accent, the author did brilliant on this, just the way he spoke, the sayings he said, the food he ate and his stubborn family beliefs he tried to drill in to others where all very northern like! @willrdean you did an amazing job on this, a story I’ll never forget
