The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas

3.0

These days I am on a romance spree, going through contemporary romance like crazy. The newest addition is The Spanish Love Deception.

Sometimes, I wonder how much bookstagram influences our reading. I'm so glad to read the debut novel of a fellow bookstagrammer.

I enjoyed this book very much. But I would've liked it more if the language was a bit more refined. I didn't expect this book to be so emotional. It was so slow in the beginning but it picked up in the end. I have a weakness for enemies to lovers trope.

I have to be truthful. I skimmed through some parts. I wasn't a fan of repitition. Some parts made me cringe. But overall, I'm glad I read this book.
