My MIL bought me this book two years ago when I met my British boyfriend (now husband) and I've only just gotten round to reading it now.
To be honest I found this tiresome and tedious. Like in many things, I find the whole "socially awkward" thing off-putting and not at all endearing so a book that focuses on it almost entirely was very tiresome. I understand it's a caricature but I could only take so much. I was skimming toward the end.
It's very much a try-hard of a book but given that the twitter feed exists, I think it's a wasted effort.
Another one for the donation bin I'm afraid.
