A Talent for Murder
by Peter Swanson
Incoherent
Huh…?!
This book was disappointing on so many levels. From the plot twist to the way the storyline was structured, everything felt disjointed and poorly executed. The characters lacked depth and meaningful back stories, making it hard to connect with or care about their journey. The entire narrative came off as wacky and inconsistent.
And that ending... it was beyond disappointing and downright confusing. It felt like it didn’t even belong to the rest of the book—almost as if it were a last-minute, bizarre idea thrown in or a poor attempt to inject a plot into an otherwise plotless story. Rather than tying things together, it left me wondering what the point of it all was.
Here’s the thing with Peter Swanson—he’s a hit-or-miss author. When he’s good, he delivers a masterpiece. But when he’s off, it’s a complete flop, and unfortunately, this book falls firmly into the latter category. There seems to be no in-between with him.
