Did not finish book. Stopped at 29%.

While the premise was intriguing, the plot felt a little rushed, and Bratan and Leena’s instant attraction didn’t leave much room for tension to build. There were also a lot of conflicts introduced early on—multiple villains, missing people, dying crops, and a newly built village in resource-scarce woods—that made the story feel a bit crowded. Unfortunately, the execution didn’t quite work for me, but I can see how others might enjoy it.
