Linger
by Maggie Stiefvater
Linger was soooooo much better than Shiver! I really complained about the first book. I had loved the writing but I was missing the depth of the characters. I wanted to know more about them.
I got the character depth I wanted, and then some!! I really like Cole, I'm warming up to Isabelle, I think Grace is great and I love Sam!
I need to know more about Cole, though, because I'm still not entirely sure what happened to him in the past. I'm missing a few puzzle pieces.
I wasn't a fan of the rapid POV switching but I quickly warmed up to it when I realized that I was getting more out of it. The writing was just as amazing as the first book. It's a really rapid, quick read that is quite enjoyable.
I'm excited to see Grace as a wolf. I was hoping that it would happen since the first book, so when she got sick, I was like "yes this is it; she'll finally get to see what it's like and I can read from her wolf perspective!" So that's exciting, and I'm curious to see what Sam does without her.
I know this is a short review (if you can even call it that) but I have a busy weekend ahead of me so I don't have the time to put together a fully developed review so I wrote down the basics of what I thought and hope from the third book.
