Endurance: A Year in Space, a Lifetime of Discovery by Scott Kelly

5.0

The gold standard of astronaut autobiography — jumps back and forth from year in space to flying fighter jets etc., great way to stop the book getting bogged down as can happen in a pure chronological re-telling. Kelly tells it how it is: spaceflight isn’t all sunshine and flowers, but he highlights how the good overwhelmingly outweigh the bad. Essential reading.
