This was so good. Those 2 absolutely deserve the absolute world because they rose to every challenge. I knew Jolie wouldn't break my heart because when I said I teared up, shouted, laughed, all the emotions. And that epilogue?!?!?! Jolie's got me hooked!!!

Not gonna lie, the surprise pregnancy is not my favorite trope, but again this was done with taste. It is a realistic situation as condoms can break or is expired which I believe was the case for this book. Which is why I'm still giving it 5 stars. If you read Hard Nox, Jolie does give that cliffhanger in the epilouge so it kind of gives you the choice to either read on or to skip it and go to book 3. However, the epilogue for this one is definitely a good cliffhanger and segue into book 3.

Book 2 is mainly plot with spicy scenes. I would give this a 4/5 🌶️ as it is open door romance with multiple scenes that really added to their relationship with some non explicit scenes to move the story along nicely.

So far, this is one of my top 5 favorites of Jolie's series so far. I started with the Body Count series because I happened to stumble upon it and then I started at the very beginning with the Marry the Scot series and making my way through as much as possible before Convict's book releases.
